Lai Kin Chang

Sweet Dumplings is Lai Kin’s first fiction short film.

She is born in Belgium and her Chinese roots gave her the benefit to grow up with the western and the traditional Chinese culture.

With her passion for art and film, Lai Kin studied animation film at the RITCS, the Royal Institute for Theatre, Cinema and Sound in Brussels.

Lai Kin is also scriptwriter and producer for documentary.

Her choice to make fiction films is mainly to tell stories about her childhood which took place in the secluded Chinese culture.

As a director she has an artistic and cinematographic approach of the film and hopes to embrace the audience in her world.
